2026 Miss Blueberry, Brooke Kitch
Brooke is the 18-year-old daughter of Brian and Patti Kitch. She has one sibling, Brandon.
Brooke belongs to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Spirit Club, Science Club, Student Council, Secretary of National Honor Society, President of both Triton FFA and Spanish Club, and chair of the Prom Committee. She also serves in leadership roles with Kosciusko County Youth Leadership Academy and EMERGE Marshall County Youth Leadership, Bourbon Township 4-H Club, Marshall County 4-H Council (Junior Leader), Potawatomi Wildlife Park Board, Marshall County Farm Bureau Board, and Triton All Sports Leadership Council. Brooke is actively involved in her Camp Creek Church Youth Group and coaches for The Dolls. She is a three time varsity golfer and two time Varsity Tennis player. Brooke enjoys thrift shopping, taking photos with friends, exploring new cultures through food, traveling, sewing, cake decorating, everything agriculture, and being active with church.
Brooke’s favorite part of the Blueberry Festival is the Labor Day parade because participating and attending the parade is the highlight of her weekend.
2026 Teen Miss Blueberry, Ruby Meister

Ruby is the 14-year-old daughter of Phillip and Allison Meister. She has one sibling, Rosalie.
She belongs to the Nappanee Missionary Church Youth Group, National Junior Honor Society, Northwood Aquatics Club, Fighting Irish Tennis Club, Future Farmers of America, and serves as the President of Student Council. She is actively involved in 4-H where she is a Junior Leader and shows swine, rabbits, goats and participates in sewing, fashion review, cake decorating, flori culture, and arts and crafts. She participates in volleyball, tennis and swimming. Ruby enjoys working on the first ever student run retail booth in the new Bremen Village Shops opening this summer with her BHS business teacher and Bremen Community Cares. She also enjoys playing the piano, reading, hanging out with her friends, sewing with her grandma, spending time outside practicing her sports.
Ruby’s favorite part of the Blueberry Festival is the fireworks! They are a highlight for her family and her. She also enjoys exploring the vendors and eating the blueberry donuts, and seeing the Blueberry Queen in action.

Queen Scholarships
The Marshall County Blueberry Festival offers two sets of scholarships, one being the Pageant Scholarships.
Along with other prizes and gifts
Brooke Kitch, 2026 Blueberry Queen received a $1250.00 Scholarship.
Izzy Hayn, 1st Runner Up received a $750.00 Scholarship.
Lilianna McMillen, 2nd runner up received a $500.00 Scholarship.
Teen Awards
The Teens receive a different type of reward.
With them being a few years away from college yet their rewards are still associated with school but in slightly different way.
Along with other prizes and gifts
Ruby Meister, Teen Miss Blueberry received $300.00 cash to go towards a School Sponsored Trip, a Club or Activity Fundraiser.
Eva Keck, 1st Runner Up received $150.00 to go towards a School Sponsored Trip, a Club or Activity Fundraiser.
Lilly Anne Longanecker, 2nd runner up received $75.00 to go towards a School Sponsored Trip, a Club or Activity Fundraiser.
These scholarships and the cash prizes for the teens are funded from the proceeds made at the “All Things Blueberry” store located inside
Information Booths #1 and #2 during the festival along with any funds designated for the Scholarship Fund throughout the year.
