2008 Miss Blueberry Festival Scholarship Pageant

All contestants in Marshall County are eligible to participate when meeting the qualifications outlined below:
1. Contestant must be a resident of Marshall County.
2. Contestant must be a female, at least seventeen (17) years of age, and cannot have had her twenty-first (21st) birthday as of June 28, 2008.
3. Contestant must be unmarried, must never have been married, and cannot have had a child or be knowingly pregnant at the time of the Pageant. If the contestant becomes pregnant during her reign, she will be required to relinquish her title.
4. If chosen as 2008 Miss Blueberry you will be required to remain single through the following pageant.
5. Your reign as 2008 Miss Blueberry will continue until the following year's Miss Blueberry is chosen.
6. No professional model is eligible for this pageant. (A professional model is one whose livelihood is modeling). A contestant who has previously competed in The Indiana State Festival Scholarship Pageant cannot do so again.
7. Judging is divided into three (3) areas:
Interview / Professional Wear 40 Points
Theme Wear 30 Points
Evening Gown 30 Points
9. The Pageant Committee reserves the right to change the foregoing Rules and Regulations as necessary at any time.
10. A completed entry from must be submitted (with photograph) by May 30, 2008.

The 2008 Miss Blueberry will receive a One Thousand Five Hundred Dollar ($1,500.00) scholarship, a tiara, trophy, sash, and other miscellaneous gifts.

The First Runner-up will receive a One Thousand Dollar ($1,000.00) scholarship, trophy, sash, and other miscellaneous gifts. The First Runner-up will replace the 2008 Miss Blueberry should circumstances dictate.

The Second Runner-up will receive a Seven Hundred Fifty Dollar ($750.00) scholarship, trophy, and other miscellaneous gifts.

The Third Runner-up will receive a Five Hundred Dollar ($500.00) scholarship and trophy.

The Fourth Runner-up will receive a Two Hundred Fifty Dollar ($250.00) scholarship and trophy.

Miss Friendship (chosen by the contestants) will receive a One Hundred Dollar ($100.00) cash prize, trophy, sash, and other miscellaneous gifts.

All contestants will receive a contestant T-shirt and miscellaneous gifts and coupons.

6:00 p.m. Contestants Arrival Time
7:00 p.m. Miss Blueberry Scholarship Pageant, PHS Auditorium
