Each squad will perform a choreographed routine not to exceed 2-1/2 min utes. Up to 1-1/2 minutes of the routine may be performed to music.

Maximum music time is 1-1/2 minutes. Time in fractions will be assessed a 10 point penalty that will be applied to the team's total score. 25 Points will be deducted for illegal partner stunts, pyramids or tumbling; based on the National Federation Safety Guide lines.

Teams will not be judged separately based on skill level. Teams will be divided by age groups.

Each individual will perform a 1-minute choreographed routine that must have tumbling, jumps, dance and a cheer.

The routine can be all music or can have any time length of music, but the overall routine may not exceed 1 minute.

$10 / Competitor
Each stunt group performs a one-minute all music stunt routine. Stunt groups will not tumble, dance or jump. They can have up to 5 people.

Spiriting on and off is allowed but formal entrances will not be permitted. Time will begin with the first word or movement of the squad after their name is called to perform. Please bring CD's. Tape players may not be available. Competition Mat is approximately 30' x 40'. The Warm-up mat is 12' x 40'. Each squad member must have a signed (by their parent or guardian) medical and liability release form turned in at sign-in by a coach or they will not be able to participate in any warm-up or competition.

Fair & Fun
This is a festival and meant to be fun and exciting. In an effort to be fair and allow our participating schools to compete on a level field, we are having the normal divisions. Each team will compete for scores in their division and the scores will count toward Grand Champions in their age/school division, but teams that do not tumble or stunt will not be penalized for not tumbling or stunting. In addition, each participating cheerleader will receive tickets to enjoy a ride or two at the carnival before they leave. We are also doing something different this year to help speed up the competition and make it more enjoyable for everyone involved. We have a separate warm-up mat. Please note: At this time, the competition mat is 30'x40' and the warm-up mat is only 12'x40' but we are working on getting more mats so that all mats are 40'x40'.
